I’m off work today and clearly have a very busy day ahead (did you not read the title!?).

The Schedule

06:45 am – Awake to the alarm on my day off purely to kick KPC out of bed (something I secretly enjoy)

07:00 am – It would appear someone pressed snooooooooozeon the alarm and it’s going off again.  I’m guessing it was KPC as he’s still in bed and Tatty’s in the garden so it wasn’t him (this time)!

07:15 am- Is that really the alarm again?  Someone’s going to be late for work and I don’t think it’s me…day off remember!?

07:18 am – As KPC strops out of bed I role to his side of the bed…to ensure he doesn’t collapse back in to bed.  This works!

07:30 am – If the early bird catches the worm then the late bird doesn’t get a shower.  The front door closes and I go back to sleep!

11:11 am- I’m woken by the aggravated meow of a moody little cat who wants to come in for breakfast (I refuse to have a cat flap so he can have his cat parties when we’re at work).  Only 3 days in to enjoying our new bedroom (we moved from the front of the house to the back) and Tatty has figured out that if he looks up and meows it gets more attention as it’s louder in the new boudoir!

11:15 am – Sit at the end of the bed, wipe eyes, discover the CD player remote under the duvet, flick on some amazing tunes (first track was by Lionel Richie and as it’s morning, I look a hot mess and don’t have my sexy on we skip forward!). 

11:18 am- Grab my phone…3 txts (Miss Popularity today?  I doubt it!).  Call one of the texters to relay events of the last few days at work whilst he’s been off!

12:00 am – Off phone.  Crawl back to bed.

12:05 am – Fly out of bed when I hear something strange in the garden (other than the still stroppy Tatty – He had salmon for dinner last night so don’t feel too bad for him, he’s not mistreated!).  Phew, just the neighbours picking apples from their apple tree (well, what else would it be?  A banana tree?).  Wonder if it’s possible to scale the fence a little later and grab some apples!  Plan!

12:07 am- Back to bed.  Laptop on.  Check Twitter, Facebook and the COASK…I’ll leave the Google reader until I’ve posted…Twitter told me someone made a video and I need to watch it in peace (because I am a massive fan of vlogs / videos – er, watching not making!).

12:25 am- All checked.  The days planned activities are over.  Phew, that was a busy day! 

12:26 am – Here I am, nothing left to do…anyone want to come over?
