I was reading our local newspaper last night and after exclaiming “it’s all theft, murder, mugging, rape, financial ruin…I want something good!”, well it isn’t quite that bad where I live but it’s the same old news everyday. Anyhoo, it was at that precise moment that I stumbled accross the classifieds…and more importantly the personals section!!
I read all 40 ads out to my sister and we were both hysterical!! Seriously, why would a “19 year old, blonde, beautiful, fun and sexy girl” be leaving classified ads to get a date? Surely the internet is better than a local newspaper if you’re “all that”?
Your Guide To Dating Through Personal Ads
There are a large number of common words people use to describe themselves when writing a personal ad. I think most people have a giggle at these when reading them (whether reading seriously or just for a laugh). Today I’m going to help you out with a little look at what these words really mean!

The Announcement
I’ve opened an Etsy store!
I absolutely love taking photos! It really is that simple. I think I’m relatively good at it (and it’s possibly the only thing I’m good at) although you might disagree (about me being good at it). I decided ages ago that I was going to try and do something with the photos I take, because in reality I’m not the biggest fan of my job and anything that takes me away from it for any amount of time is a definite bonus. This is also good because of the lack of pocket money I’m receiving from quitting my previous money making schemes!
So, please go check out my Etsy store. There’s not much there at the moment but I intend to add prints by the bucket load over the next few weeks. They’re relatively cheap compared to other sellers!! I’m only listing one size at the moment but that’s purely because they are the sizes I have in my posession. I’ve aleady priced up other sizes so all it takes is an email and I can let you know how much something will be if you want it done as a custom item. I can also get, excellently priced, boxed canvas prints - I have a few of my photos already on these and they look absolutely beautiful!

GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!! Etsy is totally awesome. I’m actually getting together some stock to open a store too! So cool. I’ll announce it when I actually do it. Its not photos…looks like you have the gift of that!! So proud of you:)

You might want to consider watermarking your photos so people don’t just steal them.
Already done it! I didn’t do it to begin with because its kind of distracting…then I realised you could enlarge the photos to full screen – if it was just thumbnails / mediums sized photos it would’ve been ok
