I’ve literally just finished sobbing like a a baby following an X-Factor audtion (the guys brother had died 6 weeks after being diagnosed with cancer and at the end of the audtion the singer’s nephew ran out on stage…oh god, I hate the emotional ones!!).

Thank god the next audition was amazing!!  Last week (the first week of auditions) I’d decided that Danyl had won already and I was going to give up watching…but I’m glad I didn’t.

Up until this season the X-Factor auditions have always been a bit bland.  The singers never really got into the performances and basically just stood and sang, which is pretty boring and you can’t really get a feel for someone if that’s all they do.  I’m not sure whether it’s because they’ve added an audience to the auditions, or it’s just a year for crazy people (perhaps some of us should try out??), but they are some great performers on this year….AND IT’S ONLY THE SECOND WEEK!!!

He may seem slightly ridiculous, but he was still pretty captivating!!  Coming soon…the bad auditions!!!
